On November 12, 2006, the newly elected Bishop of California, the Right Reverend Marc Andrus, visited St. Cyprian’s for an evening service of hymns. The bishop spoke to our congregation about his previous experience as Bishop Suffragan in the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama, his hopes for a small congregation like ours, and his plans to be a leader in searching for peaceful solutions to world conflicts.
Before the service, the bishop met with the Bishop’s Committee, and afterwards, a reception was held with a delicious assortment of food prepared by the lovely and always reliable Episcopal Church Women.
